Yoga Nidra or also know as sleep yoga (yes we lay down for the entire practice) releases built-up tension, stress, and anxiety, providing a perfect self-development tool for the often fast-paced life of the modern world. And did I mention you are laying down in a position of comfort through the practice!!!!

Each time you practice Yoga Nidra meditation, you’re stilling the waves of the mind through conscious entry into the sleep state.

Think of a car: if you want to stop and turn off the engine, you first need to downshift. Shifting your brain into an alpha state starts its process of “powering down,” or coming into a rest state with slower, restorative brain-wave activity.

Yoga Nidra is a beautiful tool to prepare you for what’s ahead by bringing you to peace in this moment.

The REST Collective is a membership gently guiding you in creating space for rest and healing. Yoga Nidra, or yogic sleep as it is commonly known, is an immensely powerful meditation technique, and one of the easiest yoga practices to develop and maintain. While you rest comfortably laying down in savasana, you’re stilling the waves of the mind through conscious entry into the sleep state, leaving you with a sense of wholeness. 

Classes run every Sunday and a mid-month Wednesday at 9 pm MST.  Recordings are made available weekly for your continued listening.

  • Monthly members get access to the complimentary mid-month pop-up Yoga Nidra and mid-month group call to ask questions and be in the community.
